The Mac app

MacroPad Studio does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal data. It has no analytics, advertising, tracking, accounts or cloud storage and does not contact an external server.

The app communicates locally with compatible USB macro pads to read their reported capabilities and key assignments and, after confirmation, write updated assignments. Saved presets, custom key names and imported layout/settings information stay on your Mac. The App Store edition stores its own data in the app’s sandbox.

Imported files are accessed through the standard macOS file picker. You can delete saved presets in the app. Removing all app data requires removing the app’s local container; keep a backup of any setups you want to retain.

This website

This site has no analytics, advertising, forms, third-party fonts or tracking cookies. It is intended to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Hosting providers process ordinary connection information, such as IP addresses and requests, to serve and protect websites. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling of that information.

Support emails

If you email support, the information you choose to send is used to respond and investigate your request. Do not include passwords, security codes or private files that are not needed. This voluntary correspondence is separate from the app, which sends no support or usage data automatically.
